1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Radeterno, a teleradiology second-opinion service operated by Radeterno Second opinions with Illustration (“Radeterno”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using our website at radeterno.com, our mobile application, or any of our radiology review services, you (“User”, “Patient”, or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Radeterno. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue your use of our Website / App and services.

Radeterno reserves the right to update or revise these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Website / App or our services following any such change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Nature of Services

  1. Radeterno provides independent, expert radiology second-opinion review services for medical imaging studies including MRI scans, CT scans, and related imaging reports. Our services are designed to complement — not replace — your primary healthcare provider’s assessment.

    Our services include:

    • Online review of submitted MRI and CT scan files by a qualified radiologist
    • Preparation of a written second-opinion report with annotated findings
    • Urgent radiology report review for time-sensitive clinical scenarios
    • Secure digital delivery of the completed review report within the stated turnaround period
    • Support for patients and clinicians in India and internationally

    For Patients

    Understand your imaging results clearly and make informed decisions in consultation with your treating doctor.

    For Clinicians

    Obtain a subspecialty radiologist perspective on complex or ambiguous imaging findings before treatment decisions.

    Radeterno does not provide emergency medical services. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please contact emergency services or proceed to your nearest hospital immediately.

3. Eligibility

To use Radeterno’s services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian if under 18
  • Be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law
  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful personal and clinical information at the time of submission
  • Be the patient whose imaging is being submitted, or be an authorised representative (e.g. a parent, carer, or treating clinician) acting on behalf of the patient

By submitting a scan or requesting a service, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements. Radeterno reserves the right to refuse service to any user at its sole discretion.

4. User Obligations

As a user of Radeterno’s Website / App and services, you agree to:

  • Submit only accurate, authentic, and unaltered medical imaging files and reports
  • Provide complete and truthful clinical history and relevant background information to assist the reviewing radiologist
  • Not misrepresent your identity, your relationship to the patient, or the clinical purpose of the review
  • Use the second-opinion report solely for personal medical decision-making or professional clinical purposes
  • Not reproduce, distribute, publish, or commercialise any Radeterno report without prior written consent
  • Not use our Website / App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems, databases, or other users’ information
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction when using our services

Submitting fraudulent, manipulated, or another person’s imaging without authorisation is a serious breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of your account and referral to appropriate authorities.

5. Payment & Fees

Radeterno’s radiology second-opinion review services are offered at a fee ranging from $40 to $100 USD (or equivalent in INR), depending on the complexity of the imaging study and the type of review requested. Full pricing details are available at the time of service selection.

  1. Pay after you receive: Radeterno operates on a “Pay After You Receive” model — payment is collected only after the completed review report is delivered to you.
  2. Payment methods: We accept secure online payment via bank transfer, UPI, or other methods specified at the time of purchase.
  3. No refund policy: Once a radiology review report has been delivered, the fee is non-refundable, as the radiologist’s time and expertise have been fully expended.
  4. Disputes: If you believe there is a billing error, please contact us at support@radeterno.com within 7 days of payment. We will review and respond promptly.
  5. Taxes: Applicable taxes (including GST where required) will be added to the fee at checkout as per Indian tax regulations.

Radeterno reserves the right to revise its pricing at any time. Any price change will not affect orders already confirmed and in progress.

6. Turnaround Time & Delivery

Radeterno strives to deliver completed second-opinion reports within the following standard timeframes:

  • Standard review: 24 to 48 hours from the time of successful scan submission and receipt of all required clinical information
  • Urgent review: As specified at the time of request, subject to radiologist availability

Turnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on the complexity of the imaging, volume of submissions, or incomplete clinical information provided. Radeterno will endeavour to notify you in the event of any delay.

Radeterno shall not be held liable for any delay in report delivery caused by incomplete submissions, technical issues beyond our control, or circumstances constituting force majeure.

Completed reports are delivered securely via email to the address provided at the time of submission. You are responsible for ensuring that your contact details are accurate and that our emails are not filtered to spam.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Radeterno Website / App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, report templates, service descriptions, and software — is the exclusive intellectual property of Radever Teleradiology and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:

  • Access and use the Website / App for personal, non-commercial purposes
  • View and retain your own delivered second-opinion report for personal medical use

You may not, without prior written permission from Radeterno:

  • Reproduce, copy, or distribute any content from the Website / App
  • Republish or commercially exploit any Radeterno report or content
  • Use any automated tools to scrape, index, or extract content from our Website / App
  • Modify or create derivative works based on our content or reports

8. Medical Disclaimer

Radeterno’s radiology second-opinion service is intended to provide additional clinical insight and perspective on your medical imaging. It is expressly not intended to serve as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from your qualified treating physician.

A Radeterno second-opinion report does not constitute a final diagnosis. Always consult your treating doctor or specialist before making any medical or treatment decisions based on our report.

The reviewing radiologist’s opinion is based solely on the imaging files and clinical information submitted by you. The accuracy and completeness of our review is directly dependent on the quality of the scan files and the accuracy of the clinical history provided.

  • Radeterno does not guarantee that its review will identify all imaging findings or abnormalities
  • Radeterno’s reports are intended to assist — not override — the opinion of your primary treating clinician
  • Any clinical action taken based on a Radeterno report remains the sole responsibility of the treating physician and the patient
  • Radeterno does not prescribe medication, order investigations, or provide surgical recommendations

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Radeterno, its directors, radiologists, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our services
  • Clinical outcomes or treatment decisions made by you or your treating physician based on a Radeterno second-opinion report
  • Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in a report arising from poor image quality, incomplete clinical history, or corrupted file submissions
  • Any loss of data, breach of confidentiality, or service interruption caused by events beyond our reasonable control
  • Third-party platforms, links, or services accessible through our Website / App

In any event, Radeterno’s maximum aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific service in question.

By using Radeterno’s services, you expressly agree to indemnify and hold Radeterno harmless against any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from your use of our services or your breach of these Terms.

10. Privacy & Data

Your use of Radeterno’s services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into and forms part of these Terms. By accepting these Terms, you also accept our Privacy Policy in its entirety.

In summary, with respect to your data:

  • All submitted scan files and personal information are handled with strict confidentiality
  • Your data is accessed only by the assigned reviewing radiologist and authorised Radeterno staff
  • Radeterno does not sell or share your personal or medical data with third parties for commercial purposes
  • You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at support@radeterno.com

11. Termination

Radeterno reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Website / App and services at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that:

  • You have violated any provision of these Terms
  • You have submitted fraudulent, falsified, or unauthorised imaging data
  • Your conduct poses a risk to the integrity of our services or the safety of our staff
  • Continued provision of services to you is not technically or commercially viable

Upon termination, your right to use our Website / App and services ceases immediately. Any outstanding fees owed for services already rendered remain payable. Radeterno shall not be liable for any loss resulting from the suspension or termination of your access.

You may also terminate your use of our services at any time by ceasing to access the Website / App and notifying us at support@radeterno.com if you wish to request deletion of your data.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

  1. Jurisdiction: Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Latur, Maharashtra, India.
  2. Informal resolution: Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting Radeterno at support@radeterno.com. We will endeavour to respond within 10 business days.
  3. Arbitration: If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes may be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with proceedings conducted in English at Latur, Maharashtra.
